"A
people without a positive knowledge of their history, origin and culture
is like a tree without roots." Marcus Mosiah Garvey 1887-1940
"The Provider" Joanne is one of the tireless women among
our people, who are prepared to do whatever it takes to address the material
reality in her process to provide food, shelter and clothing for her children.
She executes her daily tasks (often menial) with pride and dignity. Ten
percent of the revenue made from the sale of "The Provider" was
sent to assist Joanne and her family.
